To begin, sit or lie comfortably and settle into a comfortable posture. Take three slow deep breaths, inhaling slowly and then exhaling fully. Then let your breath find its natural rhythm. Spend a few minutes simply coming home to your breath.
Bring your attention to the stillness of your body as you rest the body. Bring your attention to the silence of your speech as you sit quietly. Bring your attention to the spaciousness of your mind as you sit in non-judging, open curiosity. Allow this stillness, silence, and spaciousness to quiet any restlessness, agitation, or distracting thoughts and bring you to a deepening state of peace. Rest in this peacefulness.
In front of you is vast open space. Open your eyes, let your body be relaxed, and breathe free and easy. Breathe in the open, clear sky, and allow yourself to dissolve in it when you exhale. Let pure, infinite space pervade your body, your energy, your mind. Integrate your awareness with space. Merge with space.
When you integrate with space, healing occurs. The tight, constricted knots of anger and fear, of desire and worry, dissolve. Tensions dissolve. Thoughts dissolve. Your many identities start to dissolve. In the vast sky of space, all our problems seem so tiny. Connecting with the space in us and around us allows our daily problems to dissolve away, making space for positive experience, and finding and developing the capacity to release what is negative.
Breathe in the space, connect with the space and let the space dissolve any tension we might be holding in the body. As we connect with the sky and space there is more room for whatever experiences arise. Whatever arises, it’s okay. You have the space to accommodate that. Here, connected to space, the sky, there is room for everything. There is enough time, enough emotional capacity, enough tolerance, enough love & joy.
If any uncomfortable feelings or sensations arise, simply be vast open space. Smile to whatever arises. Allow your thoughts and feelings to come and go like the clouds in the sky. Let the space element dissolve whatever arises naturally without having to do anything.
Be with the space element. Feel its energy entering your body. As you breathe in, you can imagine you are inhaling directly into your heart the pure energy of the space element. From your heart, feel the elemental space expand to every cell of your body. Let the space pervade your heart and expand your heart in all directions. As you breathe out, send the warmth, accepting, and accommodating love of your heart out into the great expanse of space. Let that warmth extend to all beings connected through space. Breathing in we take in all the space, breathing out we send out open, loving, acceptance.

Everything arises from space, exists in space, and dissolves into space. In us that sacred element of space manifests as awareness. Experience is what arises in awareness, as the content of awareness, but it is not something other than awareness.
Allow your body, energy, and consciousness to merge and simply be with the space, inside and out. Let your experience be spontaneous and uncontrived. Allow time to rest in whatever quality you have received. Everything is okay right here. Just be natural. Just be present. Just be.
