E Ma Ho! May the Sovereign of Life have longevity and be free of illness!
May the Sovereign of Desires be perfectly fulfilled!
May the Sovereign of Merit increase and remain firm!
May the Sovereign of Aspirations be accomplished just as prayed!
May the Sovereign of Results realize manifest Buddhahood!
May there be the Auspiciousness of the unchanging Body (Kāya)!
May there be the Auspiciousness of the unceasing Speech!
May there be the Auspiciousness of the unerring Mind!
May there be the Auspiciousness of the Victorious Ones' (Buddhas') Body, Speech, and Mind!
May there be the Auspiciousness of the Teacher (Buddha) appearing in the world,
Of the Doctrine (Dharma) shining forth like the light of the sun,
Of the Doctrine holders and their students spreading explanation and realization,
And of the Doctrine remaining for a long time!
The holy feet of the Upholders of the Doctrine, the Lions among Men,
Wherever they reside and uphold the Teachings,
May their disciples attain the path of maturation and liberation,
And may all obstacles completely subside!
For the splendor of the Teachings, may the Lama’s life be firm;
May the Holders of the Doctrine cover all the earthly realm;
May the patrons of the Dharma grow in power and in wealth;
May the Teachings long endure-let auspiciousness prevail!
May Auspiciousness shine forth in the daytime,
May Auspiciousness shine forth in the nighttime,
May there always be the most excellent Auspiciousness day and night,
And may there be Auspiciousness and joy right here and now!
