Prayer of the Ten Stages
Homage to the Teacher Kuntu Zangpo, who has no passing away,
I pay reverence to the compassionate protector of all.
From this time onward, for all sentient beings afflicted by afflictions,
Through generating pure bodhichitta and making this aspiration prayer,
By the compassion of the Trul Bon Sangwa Ngang Ring,
Having abandoned all the negative states of samsara,
To traverse the pure paths and grounds.
First Stage - The Joyful Stage
On the Joyful Stage
May the obscurations of miserliness be purified.
May the great accumulation of generosity be perfectly completed.
And may I behold the face of the loving mother Jama, the great embodiment of generosity.
The Second Stage - The Stainless Stage
On the second stage, The Stainless stage of crystal
May the obscurations of moral transgressions be purified.
May the great accumulation of ethical conduct be perfectly completed.
And may I behold the face of the loving mother Jama, the great embodiment of ethical conduct and morality.
The Third Stage – The Light Emitting Stage
On the third stage, the Light Emitting Stage
May the obscurations of sensitivity be purified.
May the great accumulation of patience be perfectly completed.
And may I behold the face of the loving mother Jama, the great embodiment of patience.
The Fourth Stage – The Transforming Mudra Stage
On the fourth stage, the Transforming Mudra Stage
May the obscurations of laziness be purified.
May the great accumulation of diligence be perfectly completed.
And may I behold the face of the loving mother Jama, the great embodiment of diligence and perseverance.
The Fifth Stage – The Stage of Suchness like rain nourishing the earth
On the Stage of Suchness like rain nourishing the earth
May the obscurations of agitation and effort be purified.
May the great accumulation of contemplation and concentration be perfectly completed.
And may I behold the face of the loving mother Jama, the great embodiment of contemplation and concentration.
The Sixth Stage – The Stage of Realization of blissful state
On the Stage of Realization of blissful state
May the obscurations of weakness and inadequacy be purified.
May the great accumulation of strength be perfectly completed.
And may I behold the face of the loving mother Jama, the great embodiment of strength.
The Seventh Stage – The Stage of Wish Fulfilling Accomplishment
On the Stage of Wish Fulfilling Accomplishment
May the obscurations of harmful intentions be purified.
May the great accumulation of compassion be perfectly completed.
And may I behold the face of the loving mother Jama, the great embodiment of compassion.
The Eight Stage – The Stage of Non-Attachment
On the Stage of Non-Attachment
May the obscurations of hope and doubt be purified.
May the great accumulation of aspirational prayers be perfectly completed.
And may I behold the face of the loving mother Jama, who embodies all prayers and aspirations.
The Ninth Stage – The Stage of the Wheel of Letters
On the Stage of the Wheel of Letters
May the obscurations of wrong views be purified.
May the great accumulation of skillful means be perfectly completed.
And may I behold the face of the loving mother Jama, the great embodiment of skillful means and method.
The Tenth Stage – The Unchanging Swastika Stage
On the Unchanging Swasktika Stage
May the obscurations of delusion and ignorance be purified.
May the great accumulation of wisdom be perfectly completed.
And may I behold the face of the loving mother Jama, the great embodiment of wisdom.
May I behold the face of Satrig Ersang.
Having beheld the face of Satrig Ersang,
May my own purpose be spontaneously accomplished.
Having accomplished my own purpose spontaneously,
May I perfect the welfare of others to the ultimate end.
Having perfected the welfare of others to the ultimate end,
May all the goals of sentient beings be matured!
And having ripened all the purposes of sentient beings,
May I step upon The Stage of Universal Light.
Having stepped upon The Stage of Universal Light,
Even on The Stage of the Great Bliss of Dharmakaya,
In that which is beyond all expression,
May I embody the three bodies of enlightenment of unwavering equipoise clarity.
Having perfected the three bodies of enlightenment of unwavering equipoise clarity,
And being miraculously born from pure lotus flowers,
May I perfect all the welfare of sentient beings to the ultimate end.
This concludes this aspiration prayer for traversing the path of the ten grounds, which comes from the Tri Je Do mang collection
