Before diving in head first, please understand the differences in risk associated and the recommendations, outlined below.
Historically, transmissions were given only in person, when teacher and student were in the same place, at the same time. Today, in this Kali Yuga, technology has sped up the pace and connectivity of the world and some Lamas have begun live-streaming their transmissions. This is an experiment to see if the connection can be made across distances.
These instructions include words and symbols, but they also include a telepathic, mind-to-mind component, known as a “wang” in Tibetan. This direct connection is essential to the student’s progress. Without it, only conceptual understanding arises in the student’s mind and this can actually act as a hinderance to further progress.
In addition to the hinderance of intellectualization, there are other practical risks to be aware of. Mantra (Tantra) and Chod work directly with the alchemy of raw emotions, energy, and mind. There will be inner upheavals, wacky meditative experiences (nyam), and extreme highs and lows. Please take this into consideration if you have a history of mental health issues or are experiencing significant emotional distress. This practice is not for everyone.
If the Sutra path is like hiking a trail up a mountain, then Mantra (Tantra) is like climbing a sheer rock wall – it is a direct route with many more pitfalls. THINGS CAN GO WRONG!
Go check out your local Bon or Buddhist center. Seek out an introductory class, attend Dharma talks, and engage the sangha (community). Then as you continue to do this, develop a relationship with a Bon teacher. Ask questions, and get personal instructions on your own practice of healing and transformation.
Begin a relationship with a qualified and authentic teacher. A teacher can address pressing questions as they arise and give you a map and tools for the journey. As practitioners, we can rely on those who have hiked the trail before us.
Do not expect to travel this path guided only by books and the internet! Use the internet to find a teacher, then connect with them.
The responsibility to take care of your own mind rests with you; not the lama. So, take it upon yourself to be safe and use common sense.
With great power, comes great responsibility. In this case, the responsibility is to your own naturally luminous mind.
Sangchok Gyalpo
The Mother Tantra first came from Küntuzangpo and so forth in the language of the Yungdrung deities. It was then transmitted to the Mother Zangza Ringtsün of the Thirty-Third level gods. Then it was transmitted to Sangwa Düpa of the Land of Shen Olmo Lung Ring. Next, it was transmitted to Gyalshen Milü Samleg of Gyagar bacho Zhang Zhung. It has been successively transmitted to the present to my root Lama without interruption.
The Mother Tantra has three parts.
The Base of Primordial Enlightenment in thirty chapters
The Path of Actual Enlightenment in ten chapters
The Fruit of Complete Enlightenment in ten chapters
Furthermore, the meaning of Mother Tantra is the teaching of Tantric practices that are more focused on the completion stage. What is referred to as the Father Tantra teaches the generation stage practices. The Son Tantra teaches the union of the generation and completion stage practices. Within the text of the Mother Tantra, there are the stages of the generation and completion stages, the six mothers path of application. The application of the Tsalung Thigle, channels, winds, and spheres. The application of the dream, present appearances being like the nature of a dream. The application of the body offering practice, offering the illusory body. The Three Enlightened Bodies phowa transference of consciousness for oneself, and the phowa for others. The luminosity of sleep, the sleep practice. Appearance, increase, and attainment at the time of the bardo, the way of the appearances of luminosity. This Tantra teaches how to be liberated from cyclic existence.
The commentary to the Mother Tantra comes from Milü Samleg. Milü Samleg was born in Barba in Zhang Zhang. His father was Kyer Wer Thatsen Hisangkya. His mother was Lhaza Yungdrung. He practiced for one-hundred and fifty years. The first fifty years were spent practicing and teaching on the Base of Primordial Enlightenment. The second fifty years were spent practicing and teaching on the Path of Actual Enlightenment. The third fifty years were spent practicing and teaching on the Fruit of Complete Enlightenment. Finally he attained the rainbow body without any physical remains.
In accordance with this, now at this time we have a precious human body and it is very important to get the blessings of the method of the profound instructions of the Great Secret Mother Tantra Compassionate Sun. This method is the three types of realization and conduct of the Mother Tantra of the realization and conduct of the Lama, the realization and conduct of the Yidam, and the realization and conduct of the Khandro which is very beneficial to do each year in a five day retreat.
By doing the practice of the realization and conduct of the Lama, you are embraced by the compassion of the wise and loving Lama. By doing the practice of the realization and conduct of the Yidam you get the initiation and blessings of the powerful Yidams. By doing the practice of the realization and conduct of the Khandros, adverse conditions will be averted and so forth and you will receive great compassionate blessings. Your practice will progress swiftly and powerfully. In the next lifetimes you will be continually reborn in the human realm. You will have a vision of the Yidam Sangchok Gyalpo and the Khandro Kyema Otso, the two obscurations will be purified, the two accumulations completed, by which you will become enlightened.
Description from Geshe Gelek
Within the Nine Ways of Bon, the so-called Mother Tantra is found within the seventh way, The Way of the White A. As with the other tantras within this category, the practices are based upon visualization as part of the generation and perfection stages. The Father Tantras emphasize the generation stage, the Mother Tantras emphasize the perfection stage, also referred to as the completion stage, and the Son tantras emphasize the unification. Today, when most people speak of the Mother Tantra within the Yungdrung Bön tradition, they are referring to the Secret Mother Tantra whose main title is Ma Gyu Tukje Nyima, The Sun of Compassion Mother Tantra.
“Sun of Compassion” is a reference to the yidam deity of the tantric cycle, Sangchok Tartuk Gyal, or Sangchok Gyalpo, Supremely Secret King. His consort is Khandro Chema Ötso. The Mother Tantra is unique in that the male yidam represents the emptiness aspect and the female khandro represents the clarity aspect.
In addition to the secret cycle of the Mother Tantra, there are also cycles of the Outer Mother Tantra, and the Inner Mother Tantra. The source of these three cycles of teachings is the primordial buddha Küntu Zangpo. Zangza Ringtsun, an emanation of the buddha Sherap Jamma who had a miraculous virgin birth of Chimé Tsukpü, received the divine transmission of the Mother Tantras and passed it to Milu Samlek. He was born as a prince and was known for his intelligence. As he was practicing the Mother Tantra, the six guardian khandros appeared and asked him if he throughly understood the precepts of the Mother Tantra. He replied that he understood them very well. In response, the khandros brought a skull full of water from the ocean and dipped a reed into it. They then said to him,
The Bön of the Mother Tantras is like the ocean,
the lama’s knowledge of it is like the water in the skull,
your knowledge of it is like the water droplets remaining on the reed.
At this, Milu Samlek became quite despondent. He asked the khandros how he could completely learn the Mother Tantra and they told him that he must go and receive it from Zangza Ringtsun. He did so, and later wrote a commentary for each of the Outer, Inner, and Secret cycles.
The root texts and their commentaries were handed down through the lineage until reaching Sené Gau. He translated the teachings from Zhang Zhung to Tibetan. However, it was also during this time in the 7th century that the first persecution of Yungdrung Bön began. Therefore, in order to protect the teachings for future generations, he returned the texts to the khandros who acted as guardians of the terma. Later in the time of the 11th century, the outer and inner cycles were rediscovered. The secret cycle was discovered by accident in the 12th century.
Guru Nontsé, born in 1136, was a hunter who struck a rock that then split apart to reveal a white silk wrapped around a stick and written on both sides. This was the Mother Tantra root texts along with their condensed, medium-length, and extensively detailed commentaries. He began the arduous task of copying the texts, but before he was able to finish he had a vision that the khandros wanted the white silk text to be returned to them. In that way, some of the Mother Tantra texts and commentaries remain lost to us.
During the 1st lunar month on the 21st and 22nd day, Menri Monastery performs an extensive tsok offering to the deities of the Mother Tantra according to the Shen tradition. This offering invites the deities to be present and to bestow their magnificent blessings. In this way, the practitioners’ sacred vows are renewed and they are empowered with the enlightened qualities of the Mother Tantra deities. "
~Geshe Lhundup
The Ma Gyu, or Mother Tantra, is the highest tantra in the Yungdrung Bon tradition, and shares a view similar to that of Dzogchen or Nature Mind. The Ma Gyu is a path of transformation through the cultivation of compassion involving prayers for all sentient beings. It strives for the release of all beings from the bondage of suffering. The heart of the practice focuses on reflection upon three objects: lama, yidam and khandro.
The practitioner visualizes uniting with and transforming into Shenla Okar, Sangchog Gyalpo, and Kyema Otso respectively. The goal of the practice is ultimately to transform ourselves so that we manifest all of the enlightened qualities symbolized by the lama, yidam, and khandro.
What we need:
Make a small altar. Put white cloth (or any color), on top the mandala sits, then the mother tantra picture right on the mandala. In front of the picture, the Torma picture. In front of the mandala, a butter lamp, incense, water bowl, food on plate, and flowers. Bring a mala. For food, no eating meat.
SO! The secret, the great secret, the supreme secret pure Enlightened Body, here in the place of the practice of the Secret Mantra, demons and obstructions increasing since beginning-less time, by the wrathful self-knowing, self-arisen Rigpa, the weapon of Primordial Wisdom liberates them all.
SO OM U YA HA RA TRO TA KU TRA U TSA TYA TA PHAD
The great Pӧnsé Lama’s treasury of the Primordial Wisdom transmission, drinking the stream of the nectar water of the teachings, may the chronic illness of the samsaric afflictive emotions be purified.
OM LI LI GU SHÜ DHO TSANG SA LÉ SANG NGÉ SO HA
The supreme goddess of the stairway of liberation, golden and beautiful, holding sweet and pleasant fragrances, whatever stains of karmic traces of cyclic existence, purify them by the secret, completely liberating Primordial Wisdom.
OM MA MA SHIM PÖ BHÜ DHA MU LA TIM TIM YÉ SO HA
In front in the sky a cubit above the crown of my head, seated upon a lion throne and piled sun, moon, and lotus cushions is Bӧnku Küntu Zangpo. Below until my root Lama are the transmission lineage Lamas of the Secret Mantra connected together like a string of pearls one upon another. Furthermore, the Lamas whom I am connected by initiation and oral transmission, and all the accomplished masters of the ten directions as a retinue surround the main figure of my root Lama. They all sit upon thousand petalled lotus seats. In that way, to the right of the Lamas of the teaching transmission, are the hosts of resplendent Yidam deities. To the left are the hosts of Khadromas with beautiful complexions. Behind are the gӧcham Khadros gathering like clouds. In front are the Bӧn protectors rushing together. Above are all the Buddhas. Below are the tamed demon servants. All of them appear with luminous bodies lacking inherent existence like the moon reflected in water. Their adornments and attire are complete and their appearance is overpowering. My mindstream becomes blessed.
Na Mo! All those who abide in the ten directions and the three times, Pӧnsé Lama, Buddhas, Sempas with the Enlightened Mind, Khandros, Bӧn Protectors, and guardians of the teachings, please consider me and all sentient beings.
All hindrances of enemies, and harmful obstructions to my accumulation of merit and the fruits of my practice, until all sentient beings who have mainly been my kind mothers and fathers of the three times, until attain the precious fruit of unsurpassable, completely perfect enlightenment of the Yidam Sangchok Thartuk, I prostrate with a clear mind and go for refuge in the root of the Buddhas of the three times, the Lama, along with the lineage Lamas.
I prostrate with a clear mind and go for refuge in the chief of the Buddhas of the ten directions, the Yidam, along with the chief retinue.
I prostrate with a clear mind and go for refuge in the lord of those with the accomplishment of the enlightened mind, the Kha dros, along with the protectors of the teachings.
I go to refuge in the Lamas of wisdom and kindness.
I go to refuge in the mighty Yidam deities of the Secret Mantra.
I go to refuge in the powerful Khandromas of the secret.
I go to refuge in the Lamas, Yidams, and Khandros.
Commentary:
In this prayer, Ponse Lama means our root teacher. Buddhas refers to all Enlightened beings. Sempas are all the Bodhisattvas – those who generate the Enlightened Mind. Here, those who generate the Enlightened Mind are all the practitioners who according to the Sutras are on the four paths. In Bon, this is called Yungdrung Senpa.
All sentient beings of the Three Realms, none of whom have not been my parents and relatives, until they all have attained the unsurpassable, complete perfection of the precious result of the Yidam, I will practice the Secret Tantra of Akar.
Na Mo! All those who abide in the ten directions and the three times, Pӧnsé Lama, Buddhas, Sempas with the Enlightened Mind, Khadros, Bӧn Protectors, and guardians of the teachings, please consider me and all sentient beings.
All hindrances of enemies, and harmful obstructions to my accumulation of merit and the fruits of my practice, all sentient beings who have been my kind parents throughout the three times, from now on until they all have attained the unsurpassable, completely perfect enlightenment, the precious result of the Yidam, in accordance with the enlightened intent of all the Buddhas, for the sake of benefitting sentient beings pervading space, by generating the supreme eternal Enlightened Mind, may all sentient beings who have mainly been my kind parents, be sent from the lower realms to the higher realms.
May they attain liberation rather than cyclic existence. May they get happiness rather than suffering. May they find the supreme path rather than the lower vehicles. May all those who are not free get the path of liberation. May all those unripened complete the path of fruition. May all those not liberated attain the path of liberation. May sentient beings get the Three Enlightened Bodies until cyclic existence is empty.
Just as the previous Buddha Togyal Yékhyen, and the Buddha Tӧnpa Shenrab, and Milü Samlek, and so forth, all the Buddhas of the ten directions along with the Sempas, generated the supreme eternal Enlightened Mind, I too will generate the supreme Mind of Enlightenment.
Entering the secret, the great secret, the King of the Ultimate Secret, Sangchok Tharthuk Gyal, the supremely secret wish-fulfilling jewel of the Enlightened Mind. To guide well all sentient beings, For the sake of benefitting limitless sentient beings, I generate the Mind of Enlightenment.
Commentary:
This is the reflection on the motivation or aspiration for practice. This is why we are doing these practices. This is the heart of why we practice.
The reflection mentions Buddha Togyal Yékhyen. Buddha Togyal Yékhyen is the seventh Buddha of the Yungdrung Bon. Buddha Tonpa Shenrab is the eighth Buddha, so Buddha Togyal Yékhye is the Buddha before Tonpa Shenrab.
The reflection also mentions Milu Samlek. Milu Samlek was a very important practitioner who received the teachings of the Mother Tantra. He practiced for 150 years and then become rainbow body. He practiced not only for himself but for all the various people of the villages where he lived. He wrote the commentary of the Mother Tantra practice.
Upon a lion throne with sun, moon, and lotus cushions, is seated my root Lama in the form of Küntuzangpo. Surrounded by all the lineage Lamas, imagine this. The outer world and inner beings of the three-thousand fold universe, made from the four elements piled upon each other, Mount Meru adorned with the seven precious mountains, arranged with the four continents and eight subcontinents. The sun, moon, planets, and stars, everything is functioning perfectly. Surrounded at the boundary by copper and iron mountains. Made of many kinds of precious jewels, the many shapes and colors are clear, looking like a precious treasure vase opening.
Inside is a wish fulfilling jewel. The crystal egg of the Gods and Nyen. The seven precious jewels. The eight auspicious substances. The golden sun. The conch colored moon. The wise horse. The bountiful cow. The rejuvenating nectar. The ablution pool. Incense flowers. The saffron garden, and the elixir that conquers death. Everything is beautiful, swiftly moving, when seen is pleasing and so forth. The outer offering of form, sound, smell, taste, touch, adornments, phenomena, and treasures, countless offering goddesses present these unsurpassable offerings gathered like clouds. By which the Lamas, Yidams, and Khandros are pleased, and my mindstream becomes blessed. Imagine all of this.
How wonderful! Based upon the five elements are the seven mountains and concentric mountain rings, the four continents and sub-continents together with the external and internal pleasurable qualities, and the billion universes ornamented with the sun and moon. I offer this from my heart. Please accept this offering.
Having been my mothers over and over eternally,
Sentient beings circling through the Three Realms, how sad!
The limitless suffering of all these mothers of all,
I pray to Küntuzangpo and so forth,
And all the gracious Lamas.
Myself and all sentient beings,
May our two obscurations be completely purified.
May the two accumulations of merit and wisdom be totally completed.
May the two benefits of self and others be swiftly accomplished.
Having been my mothers over and over eternally,
Sentient beings circling through the Three Realms, how sad!
The limitless suffering of all these mothers of all,
I pray to the Yidam Sangchok Gyalpo and so forth,
And the assembly of Yidam deities.
The limitless suffering of all these mothers of all,
I pray to the Khandro Kyéma Ӧtso and so forth,
And the assembly of Khandros that are like an ocean.
Myself and all sentient beings,
May our two obscurations be completely purified.
May the two accumulations of merit and wisdom be totally completed.
May the two benefits of self and others be swiftly accomplished.
The sphere of the realization is luminous, immoveable Primordial Wisdom. Clouds of offerings are presented to the precious Lama who has the extent of realization. By praying with great faith, respect, and longing, please completely bestow the four empowerments upon me.
A OM HUM! CHI PAR GU RU PUNG DU
The Enlightened Body, Speech, and Mind of the Lama are the nature of Primordial Wisdom. Masses of flames of Primordial Wisdom blaze from the Enlightened Body, burning the qualities of karmic traces in my body. A stream of primordial wisdom flows from the Enlightened Speech, Completely washing away all of the obscurations of the three poisons. Primordial Wisdom light rays emanate from the Enlightened Mind, mending all the breaches of spiritual vows. Imagine that by the light rays of the meditative absorption Primordial Wisdom all the four empowerments are attained without exception.
Commentary:
This means the realization of the natural state of mind is offered to the lama, our teacher. This mantra is the essence or energy of the lama. Why do we recite this mantra? We make offerings and connect through this energy of the lama. In turn, the lama bestows the blessing of the four empowerments upon us.
It is important to remember that there is an outer, inner, and secret root lama. The secret root lama is Kuntuzangpo – our Natural State of Mind.
In the sky in front of me, upon a throne of fruition supported by eight lions of the eight liberations, and lotus, sun, and moon cushions, and eight liberated demons, is the deity Sangchok Tharthuk Gyalpo. His complexion is dark blue. He has seven heads, sixteen hands, and eight legs standing in a striding posture. All appearances are full of hosts of Yidams.
My aggregate of consciousnesses are offered to Sangchok Gyalpo, connected to emptiness, may you accept and enjoy. The five aggregates are offered to the five Sangchok Yidams, please accept. The five elements are offered to the Five Consorts, please accept. The four mind is offered to the four places of the Four Secret Consorts of great bliss, please accept. The channels are offered to the display of compassion, the Eight Wrathful Females, please accept. The sixteen root and branch consciousnesses are offered to the Sixteen Sense Pleasure Goddesses, please accept.
The six consciousnesses are offered to the Six Jarama of the paths, please accept. The mind and mental factors are offered to the Fifty-Two Continuously Compassionate Ones, please accept. Every part of the body and limbs is offered to all the guardians of the great places, please accept. The four elements are offered to the Four Queens of the four seasons, please accept. The palms and soles of my four limbs are offered to the Four Great Gatekeeper Kings, please accept. All the parts of the marrow, bones, flesh, and blood are offered to the black Glorious Protectress and all the Wal, shen, Khandros, please accept.
The treasury of accomplishments, the Yidam Sangchok Gyalpo, I offer my body as a tsok feast offering. Please bestow the blessings of energy and power. Please grant the majestic blessing of the Buddha mandala.
SO OM Pü PA LI DHA WA DHI LA SO HA

Commentary:
This is the body offering. Our body is said to be made up of body, speech, and mind, spheres, channels, and winds, five sense organs, five limbs of the body, and many other categorization of what constitutes “us.” Each and every one of these arise from the natural state of mind. That is the important thing to know. The offering here is not to literally give your hands, legs, consciousness, and organs to Sangchok Gyalpo. That is not what is meant here. All the five senses, and five sense organs all arise from their own nature. When it says “mind and mental factors are offered to the Fifty-Two Continuously Compassionate Ones” this means that all of the mind and it’s many mental factors all arise in the base of the natural state of mind. This is why the base of the Natural State of Mind is the base of cyclic existence and the transcendence of suffering. This why it is called the Universal Ground or Ground of All. Everything, whether positive, neutral, or negative arise from that state. Our mind which is composed of the eight consciousnesses, mental factors which are composed of the fifty-two mental formations all arises from their nature. We offer up all these two Sangchok Gyalpo.
But who is Sangchok Gyalpo? Sangchok Gyalpo is your natural state of mind. All these minds and mental factors, the five senses, and five organs, etc. given as an offering means that all of these –everything– dissolves into their nature. That is the practice of offering. It does not mean we offer our liver and lungs as physical objects for Sangchok Gyalpo to eat. That is totally the wrong meaning. This is a symbolic offering that is pointing to all the aspects of our body, such as the channels, senses, consciousnesses, etc. arise out of the natural state of mind, and are dissolved back into the natural state of mind.
“Please accept” is to ask for the blessing. What is the blessing? That we can dissolve all of these elements of the body, everything, into the natural state of mind. That we can connect with the self-liberation of the natural state of mind. This is what is meant by “receiving the blessing.” This is a deep and profound blessing.
“The four elements are offered to the Four Queens of the four seasons” The Four Queens of the four seasons is the reality or nature of the four elements. The nature of the four elements transforms into the Four Seasons Queens. This is what is meant by offering our four elements to the Four Seasons Queens. Our four elements within our body liberate into their own nature which we call the Four Seasons Queens. The Four Seasons Queens is the reality of the four elements self-liberated.
“The treasury of accomplishments” means the blessing from Sangchok Gyalpo. What kind of blessing? We offer up all our impure body of the five senses, mental formations, consciousnesses, channels, etc. All of these are offered. “Please bestow the blessings of energy and power.” What is this energy and power? This energy and power is what grants the majestic blessing of the Buddha mandala. This means our body is now the samsaric mandala. But we liberate this body which is the source of samsara into the natural state of mind where every channel is Buddha, every organ is Buddha, every breath is Buddha. This is why we are offering to Sangchok Gyalpo – Our Natural State of Mind.
My mind as an OM syllable is expelled, becoming Khandro Kyéma Ӧtso, with one face and two hands. With the curved knife in her right hand she severs my skull. With the left hand she sets it as a cauldron of the three thousand-fold universe.
My chopped body is piled into the cauldron, completely filling it, Burned by the primordial wisdom fire. The sky, atmosphere, and earth are covered with sense pleasures. This great offering of generosity satisfies everyone who is hungry with food and who is thirsty with water. Sent to the ten directions without attachment, everyone is satisfied and attains great bliss.
My mind self-liberates becoming the Enlightened Form of the Khandro. The bondage of holding things to be real is released. Through complete freedom from the demon of attachment, May the great Primordial Wisdom descend.
SO OM A HRI MA TI DAKINI HUM PHAD
Khandromas falling from the sky like rain bless my mindstream. (sing beautifully)
Commentary:
The visualization of Khandro Kyéma Ӧtso is for liberating the grasping and attaching to our bodies. All those afflictive emotions of our body are offered to Khandro Kyéma Ӧtso. Who is Khandro Kyéma Ӧtso? She is the luminosity of our Natural State of Mind. We are offering up our grasping to the body because all of these negative emotions arise from grasping to our body. What is meant by body? This body includes all of the five aggregates, not just the physical body. What we are offering up is the attachment and grasping to the body. It is this grasping and attachment that dissolves into the luminosity – not the physical body. When we offer to Khandro Kyéma Ӧtso, this means we liberate our grasping and attachment into their luminous quality of the Natural State of Mind.
There are hand gestures associated with this practice. When you do them, feel that one hand is wisdom and the other hand method. Wisdom and method is cutting all the ego grasping – all the attachment of the body– and put into the three-thousand fold universe. Feel that all your ego grasping and attachment of the body is liberated into the luminosity of the Natural State of Mind.
Hand Gesture
To make two swords –one of wisdom and one of method– for cutting with your hand, for each hand, touch your thumb to your pinky finger, keeping the other three fingers flat and extended.
Cutting
Then slowly extend your swords horizontally outward along the line of your naval, both left and right. Then slice across the horizontal plane bringing them across each other from one side to the other. The right hand slices horizontally to the left across the whole body. The left hand slices horizontally to the right across the whole body. Next, bring the two hands to your vertical center line in front of you. Slowly, slice one hand up the midline of the body to the crown of your head as the other hand slices down the midline of the body. When they get to the end, reverse direction slicing back down and up at the same time.
Offering
Having done the cutting, now place your hands together in an offering gesture as if you are holding an offering plate containing all of the grasping and attachment –the body of ignorance– you just sliced up. Slowly move your hands together from left to right and back again in a sliding offering gesture. Finally, coming back to center, raise your offering hands together slowly above the crown of your head. The offering of ignorance dissolves into their own nature. Finish with a traditional snapping of the fingers, and bringing your palms together as a lotus at the heart center.
Showering of Rain Gesture
During the ending song after the mantra recitation, raise your hands above your head, and wiggle your fingers and shake your hands like rain as your hands move down from your crown to the body. Like rain softly falling over you. Finish with a traditional snapping of the fingers, and bringing your palms together as a lotus at the heart center.
SO! In the center of the expanse of the unchanging nature of reality, is the Reality Body Küntuzangpo and so forth. Along with Transmission Lineage Pӧnsé Lamas and retinues. In a god temple of one-hundred thousand suns of compassion, is Sangchok Tharthuk Gyalpo (Supreme Secret, Ultimate King) and so forth, along with The assembly of three-hundred and sixty deities of the Mother Tantra.
Come here and be fulfilled by these prostrations, confession, and offerings, displays of material and mentally emanated fulfilling sacred substances, outer offerings of form, sound, smell, taste, and touch, inner offerings of the five precious treasures (gold, silver, red coral, sapphire, pearls), secret offering of medicinal nectar, the five great worldly meats of others liberation, the five root sacred substances of our own liberation. The offering of the great assembly of the liberation of everyone. Along with whites, sweets, medicinal incense, and aromatic plant smoke.
The greatest offering clouds fill all appearance and existence of the world, may the Root Lineage Pӧnsé Lamas be fulfilled. May the sole father Sangchok Tharthuk be fulfilled. May the great mother Kyéma Ӧtso be fulfilled. May the four types of Sangchok Tharthuks and consorts be fulfilled. May the four enlightened great bliss mothers be fulfilled. May the eight wrathful enjoyment goddesses be fulfilled. May the sixteen sensory enjoyment goddesses be fulfilled. May the six Jaramas of the paths be fulfilled. May the thirty-two immeasurable Great Mothers be fulfilled. May the twenty ceaseless Great Mothers be fulfilled. May the protectors of Ogmin Gaden be fulfilled. May the Khandros of the twenty-four supreme places be fulfilled. May the four types of Khandros of the Path of Union be fulfilled. May the four classes of great King of the teaching protectors be fulfilled. May the eight glorious protectors of the eight charnel grounds be fulfilled. May the Shen Khandros and the eight classes be fulfilled. May the hosts of deities of the Secret Mantra Mother Tantra be fulfilled.
Being fulfilled, may the supreme and ordinary accomplishments be bestowed here and now. When I practice according to the Secret Tantra, observing the one-hundred and eight kinds of Tantric vows, the five root vows, and the twenty branch vows. The thirty general vows, and sixteen serious downfalls. The nine infractions, the great four, and six yogas. The nine root faults, and the seven branch downfalls. Not having transmission, after practice, elapsed time, and benefiting others. And from these, the Tantric vows that divide into one- hundred thousand, I confess having violated and confused whatever vows, having confessed, may they be purified and may all the accomplishments be bestowed.
From this may I be beyond the boundary of protecting, and get the essence of the unsurpassable, supreme accomplishment. Leaving everything as it is without any object of vows to be protected, the afflictive emotions and negativity that are without inherent nature are liberated, may I remain in the reality of the great primordial protection.
This short fulfillment and confession of the Mother Tantra was written with the intention to be done at smoke offerings, tshok offerings, and so forth. It was requested by the monk Tendrak from Yungdrung Tshultrim, who composed it with virtuous intentions.
Namo! All those who abide in the ten directions and the three times, Pӧnsé Lama, Buddhas, Sempas with the Enlightened Mind, Khandros, Bӧn Protectors, and guardians of the teachings, please consider me and all sentient beings.
Arising from my body, speech, and mind, through these pure roots of virtue, by myself and all sentient beings of the three realms, as well as the Buddhas of the three times and masses of Sempas, whatever conceptual and nonconceptual virtue done at anytime, is dedicated for the benefit of all sentient beings pervading space.
My and all sentient beings, emotional and cognitive obscurations, and the eight worldly desires, as well as the all the actions, causes, effects, and conditions of cyclic existence, disappear like dust in the sky, and ice melting into the ocean.
May these dissolve into the expanse of the unborn mind. In this life, future lives, and in the bardo, in the great bliss of supreme stainless luminosity, may we always remain.
By becoming a supreme enlightened Buddha, through the activities of the omniscient compassion of the Three Enlightened Bodies, may I benefit all beings in many ways. Leading them to the great liberation of enlightenment.
(Prepare a plate with incense, offer each other plates with food, Stand in front of rinpoche, holding the plates high, singing)
E-Ma-Ho! For these great realizations: To whoever takes joy right here, may great and common realizations arise. Enjoy them without doubts.
E-Ma-Ho! This realization of feast offering is the supreme and common realization. I receive it and enjoy it.

OM! These (offerings) present here by the command of the Sugatas, have been blessed (in our visualization) as being the great ocean and the Meru mountain. May those kinds (of beings) who do not possess the capacity to eat the first samples and those (vast number of beings belonging to) the six realms be satisfied with these remainders!
In the center of the expanse of the unchanging nature of reality, is the Reality Body Kuntuzangpo and so forth. May there come forth the good fortune of the Ponse Lamas and retinues.
In a temple of Mother Tantra, one-hundred thousand suns of compassion, may there come forth the good fortune of the five great Sangchok Kings.
My mind self-liberates becoming the Enlightened Form of the Khandro. May there come forth the good fortune of the five great Khandro.
Blessing good luck and complete satisfaction! Blessing fulfill my wishes and accomplish my goals!
