Prayer to Tapihritsa

E Ma Ho!

Emanation of the Mind of Küntu Zangpo, your complexion is luminous white like crystal.

Pure clear radiance emanating light rays in every direction.

Unadorned and naked, you are the essence of the reality of the primordial state.

By the two knowledges and your compassion, you consider the welfare of all sentient beings.

The heart essence of the Buddhas is the Dzogchen, the supreme teaching,

The highest vehicle, the essence of Tantras, scriptures, and secret instructions.

In the fundamental nature of the Base is the delusion of cyclic existence and the liberation of transcendence of suffering,

And through the sounds, lights, and rays the defects and virtues are self- luminous.

Having completely cleared the darkness of the minds of sentient beings,

The rootless base of emptiness and the grounds and paths are instantly realized,

Experience and realization manifest and cyclic existence and transcendence of suffering are liberated in the mind,

And the Three Enlightened Bodies of the fruit are displayed in space.

To you Tapihritsa, Lord of beings,

We pray with single-minded devotion,

Please bestow the blessing of empowerment,

And pacify outer, inner, and secret obstacles.

Being liberated from ignorance, the delusion of self-grasping,

Our self-knowing Rigpa is actualized, and from the perfection of the view and conduct,

May the realization of the great reality the Natural State of mind, primordially empty, rootless, and transcending the Intellect

Be bestowed upon us right now.

Master, we pray to you Tapihritsa, Lord of beings,

Please hold sentient beings of the six realms with your compassion and liberate their minds.

Not renouncing the signs of material appearance, all of these dissolve into luminosity.

The primordial wisdom of the illusory diverse display is the supreme, eternal Enlightened Body.

In the uncontaminated realm of radiant Rigpa of the Great Transference Rainbow Body,

May you place me directly in the enlightened womb right now!
