Shenlha Ökar, the White Shen Deity and the Buddha of Compassion, represents the Sambhogakaya (Dzogku) emanation of Kuntu Zangpo, the Body of Perfect Enjoyment, which is the enlightened clear light manifestation purified from all defilements. His compassion is all-pervasive and he is the embodiment of the most exalted qualities shown in the thirteen ornaments. He is the root of all enlightened divinities and he manifests in the six realms for the benefit of all sentient beings and guides beings to ultimate liberation.
Shenlha Ӧkar is depicted as a luminous white deity, with one face and two arms. His hands are placed in his lap in equipoise. He is adorned with the thirteen beautiful ornaments: crown, earrings, three necklaces (short, medium, and long), bracelets, anklets, arm bands, scarf, skirt, throne, golden decoration behind the throne and a halo. He often appears in the center of the Refuge Tree

If we can, sit in the five-fold posture. Now visualize in the space one foot above the crown of your head a lion throne with a lotus flower with petals facing upwards. On the top of that is a sun and moon cushion.
Now we recite the mantra:
A MU YE A KAR A NI A
Space Mantra
As we recite this mantra three times, one white transparent “A” syllable from the expanse of space appears with the color of the moon resting upon the moon cushion.
Next we focus on the white A syllable sitting on the moon cushion and recite the mantra:
A OM[e] HUNG A A KAR SA LE Ӧ A YANG OM DU
Dharmakaya Mantra
(A OM[e] HUNG is recited only once at the beginning, then the rest of the mantra three times)
As we recite this mantra three times, we imagine that from the white “A” white light rays emanating and purifying the obscurations of all sentient beings. Then after that, imagine that the light rays of the white “A” return and dissolve into yourself and obscurations of your body, speech, and mind are purified.
Then the white “A” melts into light. Imagine from that light appears the yidam Shenla Okar. If you do not know what Shenla Okar looks like you can imagine it becomes a white sphere. Then we recite the same mantra from before:
A OM[e] HUNG A A KAR SA LE Ӧ A YANG OM DU
Dharmakaya Mantra
(A OM[e] HUNG is recited only once at the beginning, then the rest of the mantra three times)
Now RAM (fire), YAM (wind), and MAM (water) radiate from the heart of Shenla Okar and dissolve into the top of your head.
First, we recite the syllable RAM three times. When we say RAM, we imagine from the RAM a primordial wisdom of fire burns all of your karmic traces, obscurations, and negative actions accumulated from all your lifetimes.
Second, we recite the syllable YAM three times. When we say YAM, we imagine from the YAM a primordial wisdom of wind scatters all the remaining ashes burned up by the fire.
Third, we recite the syllable MAM three times. When we say MAM, we imagine from the MAM a primordial wisdom of water cleans all the celestial remains.
Now imagine your body is clean, and your mind is pure, and you become a suitable vessel for receiving the blessings.
Now imagine that Shenla Okar melts into a white light sphere and dissolves into you. Meditate that you become the Sambhogakaya, Shenla Okar. From within this state you can now move on to the purification practices of each realm.
